The roots of TGW reach back to 1969, when Ludwig Szinicz (1939-2017) took over a small metalworking shop in Wels, Austria. Along with his friend Heinz König (*1939), he spent the following years building the company into one of the world's leading intralogistics specialists.

In the core industries of Fashion & Apparel, Grocery and Industrial & Consumer Goods, TGW plans and implements highly automated, future-proof fulfilment centres around the world – and also takes care of service and maintenance during ongoing operation. TGW develops and produces all components itself, including everything from the software to the control system and robotics to the mechatronic modules.

Ludwig Szinicz and Heinz König found TGW in Wels, Austria. By now, the company has developed into a world-leading systems integrator for intralogistics solutions.

Worldwide, more than 4,400 specialists from 69 nations work for TGW – providing their experience, expertise and dedication.

More than 20,000 of our Stingray shuttles are in use around the world and ensure the fully automatic storage and retrieval of goods.

In the 2022/23 fiscal year, the company generated a revenue of 955 million euros. The majority of profits remain in the company and are reinvested.

Putting their heads together: more than 750 experts develop customised software and digitalisation solutions for intralogistics.

Ten percent of EBIT is distributed to our employees. As part of the Dual Employee Participation, they can choose between the options of time and money.

TGW is represented by 24 units in Europe, the US and China – from Wels to Paris, from Atlanta to Shanghai.

Innovations play an important role at TGW. We have applied for a total of over 650 patents for our products and solutions.

The average age of our more than 4,000 employees is around 36. Whether trainee or seasoned pro: We succeed as a team.

In our international projects, we install around 160,000 metres of high-performance and energy-efficient conveying systems per year.

Currently, 125 highly qualified experts work in the development and production of our highly automated robotics solutions.

The highest-output fulfilment centre planned and implemented by TGW can send up to 500,000 packages a day.
