CFO Jörg Scheithauer makes a new start in his career

  • The contract with the 55-year-old manager will be dissolved by mutual consent in the 2nd quarter of calendar year 2024 
  • Jörg Scheithauer will reorient himself professionally, taking the step into self-employment and supporting companies as a consultant and sparring partner
  • The successor to his role as Chief Financial Officer of TGW Logistics is expected to be determined in the first quarter of 2024

(Marchtrenk, Austria, November 27, 2023) Jörg Scheithauer, Chief Financial Officer of TGW Logistics, will step down from operational responsibility as CFO during the 2nd quarter of calendar year 2024. The change was agreed some time ago and will take place in amicable exchange with the owner of the intralogistics specialist, TGW Future Private Foundation.

After holding numerous positions of responsibility, Jörg Scheithauer is now following a long-held wish to pass on his wide-ranging experience as a consultant and sparring partner: "I am looking forward to the change of perspective and am really keen on a new role. I'm particularly looking forward to being able to organize my time a little more freely in the future."

Jörg Scheithauer joined TGW Logistics in 2015 as CFO. Prior to that, he held the same position at Siemens and the plant manufacturer Primetals Technologies. With projects such as the planning of the Marchtrenk site and its expansion or the introduction of SAP, Jörg Scheithauer was responsible for important milestones in the development of TGW Logistics.

The search for a new CFO is already in full swing and will be accompanied by a renowned recruitment consultant. The decision lies with the owner of TGW Logistics, TGW Future Private Foundation. The new CFO is expected to be appointed in the first quarter of calendar year 2024.
