WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

A team colleague recently mentioned to me that he was very pleased to have me as his superior and that he never expected our department to develop the way it did. In general, I appreciate the open and honest interactions at construction sites and the team spirit and solidarity in connection to construction site work. We rely on each other 100% and trust in each other’s abilities as well as in our own.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOB

I am responsible for construction site and resource planning for mechanical and electrical installations. Consequently, everything at our location that is related to a project's construction site will end up at my table in some form or other. In addition to that, I also take care of TGW Robotics service engineers.

WHAT IS THE MOST STRIKING MEMORY OF YOUR FIRST WEEKS AT TGW?

That was definitely the first day at TGW and especially the first time someone addressed me directly: "Good morning, Toni. There will be a customer visit later today. That will also be your first construction site. So go ahead and join me at the meeting." And I jumped right in.

That meeting concerned the acceptance of a mock-up. Three weeks later, I was on site installing the system for that customer together with other colleagues. I really jumped in at the deep end but I could always rely on my team's support which was amazing.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT AT TGW SO FAR?

I had a number of positive experiences. For example, when I took the next step in my career immediately before I turned 30, but also the successful insertion and installation at Europe's biggest supplier for industrial maintenance and repair products as well as being part of the Decathlon installation team.

IN ALL HONESTY: WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU MADE A MISTAKE AND WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM IT?

How do you define "mistake"? I am constantly learning new things and everything I learn is based on blunders or misunderstandings but that's completely normal and only human. The important thing is to draw the right conclusions.

WHAT IMPRESSES YOUR FRIENDS WHEN YOU TELL THEM ABOUT TGW?

Basically, it is the names of the renowned customers we supply with our solutions since TGW is relatively unknown in our area. Additionally, also our values and how we implement them in everyday life are appraised.
