I have been working in the Development department of TGW Robotics since the beginning of 2020 and my main task is the mechanical development of machines. Providing technical advice is another major part of my everyday work. I was partially responsible for the mechanical design of our new carton height reducer and I participated in its mechanical installation.
During my work, I always face new technical challenges. Each step of the development has to be well thought out. To then see this progress in real time operation motivates me to do my best every day.
We use team meetings to define new work packages and assign them to individual colleagues but we also discuss the results of completed tasks.
I prefer a good mix in my work so that I can see how the theory works out in practice. That is why I like working on the mechanical installation.
I love the variety my job offers. That way I never feel bogged down and it helps me to grow personally every day. Our team spirit motivates me to do my best. My team with its mix of different personalities is very important to me. Although the workload tends to be heavy, I enjoy my job very much.
During my free time, I enjoy being outside. I tend to my horse and like to hike in the mountains. I spend the summer in, on and near the water - I waterski as often as possible. To keep fit in winter, I use the cross-country skiing trails that are practically on my doorstep.
YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE
Only in a team are we able to reach our maximum potential.
ACTING IN CONCERT
In order to complete a project successfully, every process has to be transparent and all departments have to act in concert.
BIG IMPROVEMENTS ARISE FROM SMALL CHANGES
I was able to gain some insight into other departments which helped me to better understand the steps before and after my work. I've learned that small changes in my way of working can have a positive influence on the entire project workflow.
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE
Believe in yourself and you can accomplish anything!
Never say never and believe in yourself and your skills. Even if some things seem "impossible", there is always a solution. Trust your gut feeling, be open-minded and honest. But the most important advice is to stay calm in order to have fun in your job.
