As PLC Support Engineer you will be the contact person for our international customers and together with a team you will provide optimal support for our materials handling systems. In this position you will help to solve controls incidents in our installation by means of remote maintenance access and you will therefore ensure smooth operation at our customers' sites.
Technical support and consulting of our customers worldwide
Analysis of malfunctions and development of solution options or workarounds on PLC-controlled TGW sites via remote maintenance
Identification and correction of error potentials
Close collaboration with IT Support, 2nd Level Support, Product Development, PLC Commissioning Engineers and customers
Profound technical education (vocational school or higher technical college) in the field of electronic engineering/automation engineering/mechatronics or completed apprenticeship training as mechatronic engineer with first job experience
Knowledge of PLC controls (preferably Siemens Simatic S7) and use of bus systems (Profibus, ASI) as well as of regulated drives
High degree of customer orientation and commitment
Ability to work in a team with good communication skills
Good command of English
Driver's license (class B) as well as willingness to travel (about 10 per cent)
The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 32,133 Euros according to the collective agreement. A possible overpay depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
